If It Weren't for Bad Luck

I'd have no luck at all.

Been hacked at work. Rebuilt many systems—some better done than others&mdash, ran into the evilness of revitalizing Exchange. While slow, I could see progress, but in the interest of quick results, the organization opted to install Suse Linux OpenExchange, a very sweet and easy setup. Until it too was utterly hit. Nothing like watching an entire 36 gig hard drive fill up in a day. And ruin a very happy machine serving up email to smiling faces.

So now on to a hardware firewall and rebuilding everything again.

Damn.

I saw the Suse OpenExchange server go up, and was excited to see it. The details on the Suse website are a little vague, though. It says that it interoperates with Outlook, but through a MAPI service provider, or by means of straight POP/IMAP?

How are you doing? Do you need any help? I keep getting calls from A., but I've blown her off since you're the Officer On Deck, as it were. I'd ask all of this via email, but well, you know. I also tried your latitudinarian.org account.

If you get chance, you can install AIM and get me at "seanstickle" on the AIM network. I'm happy to be of service, though telephones are not my best medium for rational discourse.

Be well.
